I started my career straight out of high school and have been working in this industry for 30 years. I specialize in highlighting, color and hair design. I have worked with many different color & hair care lines including Matrix, Aquage & Actiiv. I believe that continuing education in this field is very important not only to keep up with trends & products but to also understand & maintain them. Having owned my own business in the past, I understand that clients are the heart of our business I am grateful to have maintained most of my clientele my entire career . I am very passionate about what I do and believe that working hard and keeping my clientele satisfied keeps them looking their best.

I have been a team member here at Hot Locks for 20 years! Throughout these 20 years I have soaked up as much education as I can! I love keeping up with the trends, balayages, babylights, shadow roots. You name it! But I also live for a classic and beautiful highlight. Education is very important to me. Whether it is to brush up on my basics or to learn a new and exciting technique in the wonderful world of hair, I am in! When I am not behind my chair I am busy raising 4 hilarious and lovely children, with my husband, Rick. We enjoy being together outside as much as possible. Flying kites, playing games, tending to a ginormous veggie garden or hiking the quarries around us.

I’m Keri, I came to Hot Locks five years ago easily fitting right into this crazy family. With almost 8 years of experience, I am a hair and nail force to be reckoned with. I love to give a good pedi and then move all the way up for a picture perfect up-style! I enjoy creating a look for my clients with color, cut and volume with Up All Night by Biomega, (My favorite product from Aquage). I specialize in Baylayage for a simple, subtle lift to a beautiful blonde. When I’m not coming up with new nail designs, I can be found working on new and exciting projects at my new house or planning get-togethers with my large family.

Hi, my name is Dawn! I’ve been at Hot Locks Salon for 16 years and have been the lead nail tech for the past 11 years. I love giving a great pedicure and making your natural nails look amazing with a Shellac manicure! But most of all I really enjoy getting to know my clients and hearing their life stories! I love learning about new nail art techniques and new products. During my free time, Rod and I like to take our 3 kids and go on day trips to Amish country, Cedar Point, Baylor Beach, camping and fishing!

Hello everyone! My name is Phi, and I am a permanent makeup artist. I was born and raised in Vietnam, where I worked as a hairstylist in my aunt’s salon. I received my microblading certificate in 2019 from Beauty Mark Brows and have been microblading for 2 years. I have a passion for beauty and love to make clients feel great about themselves. When I’m not practicing my microblading and manual shading technique, I am teaching and watching my 2-year-old son, Quinton. I’m excited to be a new employee of Hot Locks.

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School with a diploma of Cosmetology & Aesthetics in 2009. I have since worked in the beauty industry doing bridal hair and make-up, and as of 2018, permanent cosmetics. I currently live in North Ridgeville with my husband, our two kids, and our cats and dog. We hope to have a small farm started in the next couple of years, and are busy gardening and learning to keep chickens!

I have been a team member at Hot Locks for 20+ years. In the past you may have seen me behind the chair as a stylist, but most recently I’ve been at the front desk as a receptionist and assistant. I have been working in this industry for over 30 years and love the transition I’ve taken to help our guests find the best team member that will suit their needs. I am always ready to greet our guests and hope to give you the best experience while visiting Hot Locks Salon and Spa. When I’m not at the salon, my husband and I love taking walks at the Metroparks in our area, picking all the veggies and wild flowers in our garden and enjoying the summer weather in my convertible!
